A downloadable game for Windows and Linux

FOR CONTENT CREATORS: The music is completely copyright free.

Big thanks to u/toksi2009 for PsychoKinds, Tom Fischbach for TwoKinds, and Kamilsohn (u/kamilsohn_oc) for helping with development.

Also big shoutout to FreeDoom, as this game uses assets from it.

THERE IS NO IN-GAME SETTINGS MENU, I've had problems with saving settings before. Please use an overrides.cfg file: (https://docs.godotengine.org/en/stable/classes/class_projectsettings.html) to override settings if you must.

This game was made because I was bored of working on one game for 4 months, I'll continue working on it and add more levels when I get tired of working on TwoKinds: The Furred and Feared again.

Please don't try to make sense of the story, there isn't really one. There is just an intro to give you an idea of why you're there.

CONTROLS;  (There is also partial controller support.)

WASD - Move

E - Interact

Shift - Run (There is stamina so don't go too trigger happy.)

Mouse - Look around (Only 2D DOOM-like looking around.)

G - Screenshot (PrtSc likes to take a picture of the main menu, screenshots are saved at %appdata%\Godot\app_userdata\Faz's Psychokinds. Remember to rename the screenshot or it will be replaced if you take an another one on the same day since the filename is dependent on date but not time.)

Escape - Pause

There is something down in the basement, each time you blind it your flashlight loses power.

You don't really need to read TwoKinds to play the game, though you might understand things better. You also don't need to read u/toksi2009's AU since this game is my take on it (his reddit page also seems to be dead).

Install instructions

Sorry for big file size, the zip file contains both 64 bit and 32 bit versions.

Simply run the game, please report any problems with the Linux version since it is untested and I had a couple problems when exporting.
